The pizza truck, branded gazebo and crew set up at an evening corporate event

Corporate Event Pizza Catering in South Wales

Team days, product launches, staff parties, open days and site visits. We turn up, set up out of the way, and feed everyone without anybody having to leave the building.

We make our dough ourselves and never freeze it. Bases are stretched by hand and go into the oven when the person at the front of the queue asks for one, which is the whole difference between this and a platter that was assembled at six in the morning.

The ovens are wood-fired, gas and electric. That matters more for corporate work than it sounds, because a lot of office car parks, business parks and indoor venues will not allow a naked flame anywhere near the building. We can still cook there.

Ten to five hundred. For a staff lunch we would usually suggest the buffet, sliced onto boards and put out as it comes off the peel, so nobody stands waiting on their own order while their break runs out. Individual boxed pizzas suit an open day or a launch where people arrive in waves. Add the sides and it becomes a proper meal rather than something to pick at.

We are self-sufficient. Our own power, gazebo and crew, arriving around two hours before service and setting up quietly wherever you put us. What a site needs to give us is a level pitch, a way of getting a vehicle onto it, and somewhere the flue is not sitting directly under a window. The quote form asks about water and electric so we can plan, not because we need a hookup.

We cover Cardiff, Newport, Swansea, Bridgend, Brecon, the Vale and the Rhondda, and we will travel further if the date works. Pricing is per head and you get the figure before you commit to anything. A 25% deposit holds the date, the balance is due 14 days before, and guest numbers are confirmed at the same point.

Why pizza works at a work event

  1. 1

    Cooked in front of everyone

The ovens are lit and up to temperature about two hours before service. Nothing arrives in a box from a supplier and nothing sits under a lamp waiting for you.

  2. 2

    It gets people talking

The queue at the hatch does more for a room of colleagues who barely know each other than any icebreaker on the agenda.

  3. 3

    It fits the schedule

Pizzas cook fast and we serve continuously, so people eat as they come free rather than everything stopping at once for a sit-down lunch.

  4. 4

    Priced per head

You get the figure before you commit. Numbers are confirmed 14 days out, so the invoice holds no surprises.

Why a pizza truck works for business

It is not sandwiches

Most work catering is a platter that was assembled at six in the morning. This is not that, and people notice within about four seconds.

We set up around you

Roughly two hours early, quietly, wherever you put us. Whatever is happening in the building carries on happening.

Dietary requirements

Vegetarian pizzas are on the standard menu and the marinara is made without cheese. Put gluten-free and anything else on the quote form and we will confirm what we can do for your date.

Indoors or out

Wood-fired, gas and electric ovens between them cover pitches where an open fire is welcome and the many business parks where it is not.

People remember it

And they associate it with whoever laid it on, which is usually the reason the budget existed in the first place.
