Party Pizza Catering in South Wales

Birthdays, anniversaries, christenings, hen and stag dos, or forty people in a garden and no plan for feeding them.

A party is the easiest thing we do, and the one where the food does the most work. People eat standing up, they come back for a second one, and the queue at the hatch turns into the bit of the night everyone remembers. Every base is stretched by hand and cooked to order in front of them.

For a party we would usually suggest the buffet: pizzas sliced onto boards and put out as they come off the peel, so nobody is waiting on their own order. If you would rather everybody got a whole one to themselves, boxed and hot, we do that instead. Add the sides and it becomes the meal rather than the extra.

Children are straightforward. Plain cheese and tomato goes down without argument, and the hot dog pizza, which is exactly what it sounds like, has been quietly winning birthday parties for years. Vegetarian pizzas are on the standard menu and the marinara is made without cheese at all.

The thing worth checking before you book is access. We need to get a truck or a trailer onto the pitch and leave it there, on ground that is reasonably level, with room to open up around it. Back gardens, driveways, village halls, rugby clubs and farm yards have all worked. Tight terraced lanes sometimes have not, so tell us what we are coming to.

We cover South Wales from a base in the Rhondda: Cardiff, Newport, Swansea, Bridgend, Brecon, the Vale and everywhere between. We bring our own power and gazebo, so a venue needs to give us little more than a pitch and a way in. A 25% deposit holds the date.

The practical bits

Buffet or boxed

Sliced onto boards as they come off the peel, or a whole one each, boxed and hot. The buffet suits a room that is standing and talking.

Good with children

Cheese and tomato settles most arguments, and the hot dog pizza has been quietly winning birthday parties for years.

We bring our own power

No hookup needed. A level pitch and a way of getting a vehicle onto it is usually the whole requirement.

Small parties count

Ten people is a perfectly normal booking. So is two hundred. The kit that comes to you changes, the pizza does not.

Sides if you want them

Laid out alongside the boards, which turns the pizza from something to pick at into the actual meal.

Check the access first

Back gardens, driveways, village halls and rugby clubs are all fine. Narrow terraced lanes sometimes are not, so tell us what we are coming to.

Tell us the date, the place and rough numbers, and we will come back to you with a price.
