Wedding guests in the evening eating pizza from boxes on the grass

Wedding Pizza Catering in South Wales

We pitch up, light the ovens a couple of hours before service, and cook in front of your guests until everyone has eaten.

Pizza works at a wedding because it turns up hot, it turns up quickly, and nobody has to sit down for it. We make our dough ourselves and never freeze it. Bases are stretched by hand and go into the oven when your guest asks for one, not an hour beforehand under a heat lamp.

Most couples book us for one of two moments. The evening, when the day guests are flagging and a coachload of evening guests has just walked in. Or the afternoon, as a relaxed alternative to a sit-down wedding breakfast. Both work. The evening is the busier of the two by a long way, so if your date is in summer it is worth asking early.

There are three ways to serve it. Individual pizzas, boxed and handed over one at a time, which suits a crowd that is standing and moving. A pizza buffet, sliced onto boards and set out to graze. Or the buffet with sides, which is the one to choose when the pizza is doing the job of a proper meal rather than topping people up.

We are self-sufficient. Truck or trailer, our own power, our own gazebo and our own crew, arriving around two hours ahead to set up wherever the venue puts us. The quote form asks whether there is water and electric on site because it helps us plan, not because we need either to cook.

We are based in the Rhondda and work across South Wales: Cardiff, Newport, Swansea, Bridgend, Brecon, the Vale and the valleys in between. If your venue sits outside that, ask anyway. A 25% deposit holds the date and the balance is due 14 days before.

What booking us actually involves

Cooked in front of your guests

The ovens are lit and up to temperature about two hours before service. Nothing is cooked in advance and held under a lamp.

10 to 500 guests

Put the number on the quote form and we will work out how many ovens and how much crew that needs.

Three ways to serve

Individual boxed pizzas, a sliced buffet on boards, or the buffet with sides when the pizza is doing the job of a meal.

Dietary requirements

Vegetarian pizzas are on the standard menu and the marinara is made without cheese. Put allergies on the form and we will go through them with you.

We work around the day

Setting up takes roughly two hours and happens wherever the venue puts us. Photographs carry on regardless.

25% holds the date

The balance is due 14 days before, which is also when guest numbers and the menu are confirmed.

Tell us the date, the venue and rough numbers, and we will come back to you with a price.

Got a date in mind?

Tell us the date, the place and roughly how many guests. We will come back with a straight-talking quote — no deposit needed to ask.
